It's not every day you get to go to the World Cup opener in Sölden, Austria and watch the race with Bode and the whole PEAK SKI family, but then if you're an ADL Member on the 1st Annual Willy's Run... you did just that! We didn't waste the opportunity either. We picked Bode's brain on optimal binding mount positions, his favorite ski in the lineup and more.
e just returned from what can only be described as a top 3 ADL DreamTrip! The adrenaline-fueled week started with tours of the Porsche Museum and Factory in Zuffenhausen, Germany. Then we hit the Autobahn in 4 brand new Porsche 911 4S to Kitzbühel, where we visited the Hahnenkamm Start Haus and had lunch on the terrace of looking all of Tirol...
It was a super fun weekend with a crazy group of ADL golfers enjoying the dry, sunny weather on the Eastside of Washington. We played 18 at Highlander Country Club on Friday, followed by two more rounds on Saturday & Sunday at Desert Canyon Golf Club. Of course, there was some classic ADL BBQ and Shotskis!
This community event is the best in the area to buy and sell skis, snowboards, boots, clothing, winter accessories and more! Brought to you by our friends at Mountain to Sound Outfitters, this annual ski swap is a sure-fire way to clear out your overstuffed gear closet.
Erik Arvidsson is on the rise and he could use our help. We first met Erik in the Spring of 2021 at Worthy Burgers in South Royalton, Vermont. He had just graduated from Middlebury College and was a rookie on the US Ski Team. A chance meeting with ADL Member Tyson Rich connected him with the club. Two seasons later and Erik has worked his way up the World Cup rankings finishing 6x in the top 30 last season, along with a 9th place in the combined and 17th in the Men's Downhill at the 2023 FIS ALPINE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS!

I grew up in the era of “Straight Skis”- pre-shaped era, they were generally longer... a Plus! With just a slight sidecut, my first ‘package ski set’ was Gresvig Super’s 205cm with lift cable bindings and screw in edges (mid-60’s.) A couple seasons later I was totally into Skiing. I splurged and bought my first main line skis, a pair of Head GS (black tops with yellow engraving & sidewalls! Oh, and the price was only $148.50!!) At the time, I thought they were the absolute coolest skis ever.

Easily one of the most beautiful and traditional World Cup races on the whole circuit, Wengen is a magical alpine wonderland filled with cog trains, racers, raclette and fighter jets buzzing through majestic mountain peaks at warp speed. You really can't anticipate the fun and alpine beauty you will experience over the course of the week until suddenly, you are drowning in it like a piece of bread falling into a bubbling pot of hot fondue.
Always the biggest and most wild trip of the season, the Austrian DreamTrip is unpredictable, crazy and beyond fun. Joining us for this year's trip was former World Cup and USA Olympic racer AJ Kitt. We had a passionate group of skiers and race fans with us, and it was quite possibly the wildest trip ever.
Our home for the week was at the World Cup famous Moelgg Family Residence in San Vigilio. We can walk to Kronplatz and we have old farms mixed with new lodges all around us. The cute horses across the street liked Dave because he brought them carrots. It snowed our first night too and we had great skiing and the food.... well that is almost the whole reason for going.
It’s never too early to stock up and look good for next seasons DreamTrips. To celebrate our new partner Elevenate, we put together this sweet package deal to get things started right. We took their highly technical and cozy Combin GORE-TEX Infinium down jacket for cold days in the mountains and combined it with our matching Eisbar ADL DreamTrips Beanie.
Freeriding in the huge mountains of Engelberg with a small group of ADL original Dream trippers Scott and Lorne Lewis, Kris Hendricks and rookie Patrick Brown. The reported low snowpack had us nervous but after a 6000' tram ride from the town to the top peak our fears were put to rest. Great snow and wild terrain, marked with glaciers, rocks and chutes awaited us just steps from the lifts. Ginormous might not be a word but the terrain at Engelberg was huge.
We had a group of 11 enthusiastic friends and family book out the whole trip a year in advance. These people wanted the full Chamonix experience and I think we delivered. The valley hadn’t seen new snow in over a month when we arrived but, the ADL magic followed us in just like at Engelberg. We skied the Valle blanche from the Italian side on the first day with powder in 40 days. We always try to check all the boxes… not too many were left empty on this trip.
The ADL is proud to announce the newest club partner Elevenate clothing from Sweden. We have been wearing and testing their gear and après cord pants for the last two seasons and they have performed way beyond our expectations! Now all members can get their fantastic gear direct through the club at Savings of 30-60%.

Not everyone can go to Kitzbuhel and Wengen on our DreamTrips so watching the races at home is always a great second option. Fortunately there are numerous streaming options available for us to tune in to all the action. The races start this weekend at Soelden and you wont want to miss a second of the action because as you know… Hundies Matter!!!
The masks are off but not the gloves. We have two rounds for you to spar gates with ski racing legends Phil & Steve Mahre this this June! We created a special new camp this summer where we will stay altogether right on the mountain at the exclusive Silcox Lodge - it's the only ski in ski out camp on Mt Hood and is sure to be filled with great fun and memories. We will also offer a back to back option with our traditional 4 day GS camp that we have successfully run for the last 11 years.
