We discovered Folkrm at the Snowvanna ski show in Portland and boy are we happy we did. Modeled after the famous Chamonix guide poles by Les Batons D’Alain, Folkrm poles are super light, strong and simple. Who stops on a climb to reset their adjustable poles?? Not us and with their long biodegradable EVA foam grips you simply move your hands to the optimal position. Traditional adjustable poles are failure prone and often too tight or loose to adjust easily and reliably out in the field. Changing temperatures play havoc with the aluminum and the clips used to secure the poles break or fail often – leaving you out in the backcountry with unusable poles.
