Checking off all the boxes in Chamonix.
We had a group of 11 enthusiastic friends and family book out the whole trip a year in advance. These people wanted the full Chamonix experience and I think we delivered. The valley hadn’t seen new snow in over a month when we arrived but, the ADL magic followed us in just like at Engelberg. We skied the Valle blanche from the Italian side on the first day with powder in 40 days. Our guides were almost more stoked than we were. We covered the Grand Montets on a blue bird day and got first tracks in the trees on a wild storm day. Everyone agreed the lunch in Italy at Courmayeur was the best they ever had. We also explored every inch of Aguille du Midi and had nice walks in the village, shopping, drinking afternoon Aperols and eating all the meat and cheese they had to offer. We always try to check all the boxes… not too many were left empty on this trip.
