2nd Annual ADL Desert Canyon Fall Golf Mixer

Did He Sink It?

Noonan!!!  Nothing could distract Matt Rudolph or anyone in the group from hitting long drives to Pound Town and sinking putts like leaky boats in the harbor at Goon Island. Yes my friends… fun was had. There were divots, a little cursing, a few soda pops and much laughter during our 2nd Annual Fall Golf Mixer. The weather was fantastic, and we are already planning the 3rd version for next year. See all the great photos and get this on your calendar.

With Mission Ridge Ski Resort looming in the background, we kicked off our weekend at Highlander Country Club in Wenatchee on Friday. We had great weather, and everyone played a solid round. On the 16th and hardest hole on the course our group of four launched 4 bombs over the canyon and onto the green – we all birdied that bad boy. It wasn’t a harbinger of things to come but, it was a blast.

Night Putting with the Deans Daughter

Lodging was provided by Desert Canyon Resort. We had two 4-bedroom condos with patios and balconies overlooking the 3rd green. We played 18 holes on Saturday straight up and did a scramble on Sunday. Saturday night we had a huge BBQ potluck and convened for a night putting contest with glow in the dark balls on the putting course. You know who the Champion of the night putting contest was? Not me. It was Mitch Kupstein of course. 🙂

We will do this again next year. Probably around the first week of October 3rd-5th, 2025 (FRI-SAT-SUN). Keep your eyes on this webpage and put your name down: ADL Desert Canyon Golf Weekend 2025

It’s a great weekend. We don’t take things too seriously and encourage all levels of golfers to join us. We may even have a wonderful Pro coach joining us next year and will include some coaching and tips during the weekend. Stay tuned!!
