We had five crazy trips this winter with five different groups of fun, adventurous ADL members. On each trip there were people we met or things that happened which created hilarious stories and memories to last a lifetime. We can’t fit them all on here as honestly, there were too many but, we can pick a few of the best images and share more details about the stories behind them.
We have been going to our secret village in Japan for over five years. We always go in February as it’s the time the Siberian funnel pumps light, dry snow on the surrounding hills like a cannon.
“Hold Your Breath”, is the title of the latest article on Myoko in the December, 2019 issue of Powder Magazine. When we first heard they were going there to write it, we were the ones holding our breath. Our first reaction was to cringe, at the thought of throngs of new skiers invading what has been ours alone. However, stepping back and reflecting on what Myoko is with a calm view, the recent attention is a great validation for what we have been telling and showing our members over the last five years. “Exhale… It is as good as we have been saying and it wont change anytime soon!”
Just in time for winter 2020 comes are latest Japow hat. This warm 50% wool blend trucker is adorned with our faux leather JAPOW logo. The Japanese writing says Fukai Yuki which means Deap Snow and that’s exactly what you’ll get when you come on one of our trips to the land of the rising sun.
